ASME at WAU Music Festival Unites Young Musicians in a Celebration of U.S.-China Friendship
Washington, D.C., August 5th to August 9th, 2024 – The ASME@WAU Music Festival, a premier event offering an enriching mix of lessons, engaging classes, chamber music, and solo performances, has successfully concluded its latest edition. This year’s festival, which highlighted the vibrant musical traditions of both China and America, brought together top professors from the DC area and across the U.S. to mentor a new generation of musicians. Co-directors Daniel Lau and Dan Zhang sought to create an environment where the highest level of music making could be achieved in a joyful fashion.
